Club contests are going high fashion. Starting Monday, January 14th, contestants in Charlie’s Wet Boxer Contest will be drenched in fashionable briefs from Andrew Christian. LOBO is sponsoring the vamped up version of Charlie’s popular contest in which contestants will now wear undies provided by one of the world’s top designers for gay men.
L.A.-based designer Andrew Christian is enjoying a surge in popularity since launching his underwear line which has now evolved into shirts, jackets, pants and more.
LOBO owner, Enrique Aguilar, is excited about bringing fashions from his shop on 32 and Guadalupe into the hands of the guys who really enjoy wearing and buying quality designs. The contest is a perfect way to combine the fun and naughty spirit of Charlie’s with the playful and sexy styles from Andrew Christian.
LOBO is the only shop in Austin to carry a full line and colorful line including underwear, long and short-sleeve tees, jackets and bags in small sizes and limited designs. (Yes, this means you will be close to being the only person in Austin wearing what you bought)
The contest will begin right before Midnight on Monday nights starting January 14th. Four or more contestants (first come, first serve) will have the chance to sign up to sport a pair of designer briefs. The real fun starts when the young men are drenched with warm water and dance for the crowd who will select the winner.
One winner each week will receive a prize (yet to be determined) and one winner from the entire month will be selected to receive a free photo session with PatrickMark Photography and possibly a layout in Latest and Gayest.com and TWiT Magazine.
Good Luck!
